Messed up Blog roll!

I seem to have messed my blog roll up.  I ticked a box as I want to alter the  acending order.  How much harm can ticking one box do, huh?

I shall fix it later.  Much later.  As those  links are not supposed to be that high up at the top!

Prayers.

Most folks know I've been pretty sick the last two and a half years.  And during that time have gone from walking a dog at least two miles a day,  to being wheelchair bound and a body wracked with pain,  And all sorts of head events that  leave me struggling congitively.  And  it all seemed like some medical conspiracy.  As cos I had a past lable of Mentally ill,  cos the doctors could not find a problem,  they assumed I was a fruit cake.  Even after going to see a shrink and him saying I wasn't mentally ill.

Anyhow,  it seemed like time would be short  n this earth.  Yet the end of last week I had a letter from my doctor and it seems they may have found out the problem.   Shan't know till Wednesday all the facts and details etc.  But as I said to Lysa, right now I expect to be around to bug folks for a while.  And may even experience some healing,  tho how much if any is anyones guess right now.  The irony is,  I have a 30 year history of mental illness and seizures,  and symptoms in a much lesser to degree to this illness which go way back over 20 years and probably longer.  What it seems to have been found can cause both  seizures and pyschotic episodes.    It looks like God took the key and unlocked the life-long mystery.

And this came just after a time that had been the lowest of my life.  God was making no sense when I saw the pain filled past,  and "this" now.  The past still had a grip like a vice.   And yet,  if this goes back as far as it seems to,  I have been living with a deadly desease if untreated,  for around 30 years,   as my Pastor commented today, (jokingly)  I have lived on more borrowed time than anyone has a right to.  And  with an eye always in the past,  and the pain that still engulfed from that, and robbed of any joy in Christian life,  it seemd Like a good, gracious God would not have allowed the horrors that went on in all kinds of ways.  And   that when folks said He had been there all the time wanted to scream, well why didn't He do something.  Yet,  He was doing something,  if my diagnosis is confirmed,  He was keeping me alive by His will alone.  As no medical treatment was or is being had.  And to go that long,  even the last two and a half years in the state of physical  collapse that has occured,  to survive those when so sick and having now a good idea what the problem is,  seems beyond belief.  It was a very real possibility that  death was my neighbour.   And still is till I start to get treatment.  Yet having to wait for the dx to be confirmed and then probably having to wait more for the U.K medical system to spring into action is not a concern.  How can a few more weeks make any difference,  when by God's will I am here now.

I don't actually recall all that happened except I got tipped out of my wheelchair three weeks ago and was in agony after.  And that started the anger, bewilderment,  frustration,  and often railing.  Within two minutes of coming out church two Sunday's ago I sommersaulted backwards on my back.  Nothing made any sense.  And didn't think it ever would.  And don't recall the sequence of events, but had somehow sensed God  coming near about a week before I got the letter from the doctors.  Peace inwardly was there. And God had seemed real, and personal.  And the letter on friday was the icing on the cake.  Since then blessing have flown like  the river of tears did the week before. I do recall I poured over Lamentations which spoke to the very core of  emotions and worthlessness.  And think when we reach so low,  that we  empty  ourselves, then and only then, can we see Him in His  true Glory.

God has been good and merciful.  If this is confirmed  He reached down from Heaven and comforted from the wrenching pain of the past with a kiss of comfort that only He could give.   And in one fell swoop connected my past, present and future together.   And He is prepareing His mansion for me too.

1I am the man who has seen affliction
   under the rod of his wrath;
2he has driven and brought me
   into darkness without any light

6he has made me dwell in darkness
   like the dead of long ago.
7He has walled me about so that I cannot escape;
   he has made my chains heavy;
8though I call and cry for help,
   he shuts out my prayer;

15He has filled me with bitterness;
   he has sated me with wormwood.
16He has made my teeth grind on gravel,
   and made me cower in ashes

17my soul is bereft of peace;
   I have forgotten what happiness[1] is;
18so I say, "My endurance has perished;
   so has my hope from the LORD."

1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble

Today has been spent in bed mostly, as have many days been recently, (thank the Lord for a laptop!) and haven't slept properly  without being distrubed by external factors every few minutes for about two weeks.  And at the moment are taking morphine on a daily basis.   Yet, God is there.  My ever present help in trouble.   With the peace of God within,  the externals matter little.   My Lord and my God came near, and wiped away the tears and hurt.  What an awesome God He is.

"Happy birthday to you,
I went to the zoo,
I saw a chimpanzee,
And I thought it was you!"

Ah,  those were the days,  but that's a different song!  Its no ones birthday.  I just noted  that I blagged 200 times,  and since  "crazy" folks do all kinds of strange things,  thought a birthday party would be in order!

I am working on something serious.  About one of the ten commandments,  but want to be less direct,  so are ponderizing over it.   Directness can be kewl.  But not when it gets right down to being blunt.   Beth took a while to get used to my bluntness.  And after four or five years has made it!!

Fortune tellers

Isaiah 8
19 When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?

Well,  God was very specific about fortune-telling, witchcraft, and sorcery of any kind.  The passages are numerous.   But,  would anyone really think anyone can tell the what the future holds by any natural means?  And if so,  well,  listen to this audio clip,  and you may see its as  about as likely to be right as,  Saddam Hussein being given the Nobel Peace Prize!  The talker was someone called Miss Cleo who I believe is known in U.S. media.  But I had never heard of her before.

Keep your eye on the Road!!

It seems to me, that when one sees folks driving along while holding a mobile phone to their ear,  looking through the mirror to see as they look pretty,  and in one case, a guy driving a lone with a hamburger in one hand a newspaper in the other, and steering the car with his knees,  that we should be grateful to have the Yorkshire Terrier keeping its eye on the road!!    My Yorkshire terrier would always look left and right before even crossing a road,  so they do have  more road sense than many folks!!  Out of control... humbug!

Woman drove with dog on lap

A PERTH woman who was spotted driving with a Yorkshire terrier on her lap was fined 150 at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday.

Mary Mannion (36), May Place, North Muirton, also had five penalty points imposed on her licence after she admitted a charge of careless driving in Longcauseway and Riggs Road, Perth, on November 7 last year.

She had originally been charged with careless driving but a guilty to the lesser charge was accepted buy the prosecution.

The court was told that the dog was seen sticking its head out of the drivers window. It was in full view on the accuseds lap and was described as being out of control.

Solicitor Billy Somerville said that the dog didnt normally jump up but on this case it had. The accused had taken steps to ensure it wouldnt happen again.

Only have cute, and pretty looking pets!

Well,  I heard it said a long time ago,  that pet owners often started to resemble their pets, in both ways and looks.   Am sure glad for the most part I only kept cute dogs.  Grouchy dogs often,  but still cute!

Here is proof of this owner resemblance thing:

Useless info for this Day!

Tis a mad, mad world!

I hate bugs and creepy things!  And to think they could come anywhere near food or drink is dreadfully alarming!   Years ago,  I would not eat, thinking someone may be trying to poison me,  I think I saved my life by doing so!  As hygiene was bound to be less good then than now!  Howard Hughs was a facinating man!  At least in his obsessive state of when he was old.  I saw Tommy Lee Jones play him on TV in a movie of a few years ago!    Is it any wonder folks keep everything wrapped up in plastic,  have finger nails 15 inches long,  when they see things like the infiltration of the ants below, huh?!

A Little bit more Weird.

Beware of those who call themselves prophets too..  mormons or others!

In a murder trial about to conclude at press time in Martinez, Calif., the circuslike cast of characters included Glenn Helzer (already convicted of several bizarre murders designed to vault him to power as the one true Mormon prophet), his brother Justin (charged in Glenn's crimes and described as one who takes his meals on the kitchen floor on all fours), Dawn Godman (a self-described "good witch" who pleaded guilty as Glenn's helper and then, as the government's star witness, described Glenn's plot to recruit Brazilian orphans to go to Utah and kill Mormon elders, thus hastening the apocalypse), and a former Playboy centerfold (September 2000), not charged with a crime, who was Glenn's girlfriend and took the stand to vouch for Justin's good character. A little snippet of Weird  (if old, again!) News!

Well,  I know at least some of the folks who read here are from P.A. so thought I would give you some topical weird, news!

And this I think, speaks of Divine Intervention, and Divine Justice!  And  this is proof, that watching TV can be bad for one's health!  No Goggle boxing on my blog!

1997 -- Michael Anderson Godwin made Weird news, posthumously in 1989. He had spent several years awaiting South Carolina's electric chair on a murder conviction before having his sentence reduced to life in prison. In March 1989, sitting on a metal toilet in his cell and attempting to fix his small TV set, he bit into a wire and was electrocuted. On Jan. 1, 1997, Laurence Baker, also a convicted murderer once on death row but later serving a life sentence at the state prison in Pittsburgh, Pa., was electrocuted by his homemade earphones as he watched his small TV while sitting on his metal toilet.

I like looking at the pictures too!!

Well,  The popish Papacy of Gregory was heard to justify his  thinking that there is nothing wrong  with Images in Worship,  that "Pictures are the books for the unlearned"  Well, I like looking at pictures too!!  This blog evidences that fact.    But  will have none of this popish idololatory, concerning graven images.  Tis all, Hogwash!  And utter poppycock.

I won't say more on this now, but plan to dip my pen in my ink soon, to  scribble something about it.    But   But for anyone who may not have looked much into this subject,   Here is a brief  but not over-long or over-complicated Synopsisof the Reformed and indeed Biblical position!  Concerning Pictures of Christ

if anyone wants to donate some candy bars to keep me going during my dipping pen in ink hours, which usually go far into the nites,  then please  ask for my nochex email address!!    My favourite kinds are Yorkie bars,  Snickers,  and minto aero.  So, there ya go.. tis better than Rabbit stew!

Fattening up the Goose!

Well,  I know  fattening up animals for food, does not seem to be right thing to do, whether turkeys,   Pet cows, pigs or anything else much!  But was there any reason besides being the big Easter Bunny this wabbit got to be sooo huge?  And don't think all bunnies, dumb or otherwise, are anywhere near as over-grown as this wabbit!

Doctor's Death

Well,  I have to say,  this does not surprise me one little itsy bitsy bit!!  Over two and a half years down the  line,  of first getting sick,  my doctors may now have some idea what is going on.  But tis no thanks to them,  I am still in the land of the living,  if what I'm hearing is correct!!  And this seems a bit farcial perhaps if one does not have much experience with doctors and their wonderful world of neglect...  But I agree!!   And for the first time in my life plan to make a complaint about a doctor!!  He was a psyche.  But as Susan so nicely and rightly put it,  "he wants his head examined!"  Quite right, gel!  (made me lol tho.. "his head examined")

I  have only heard two doctors, actually referrred to as Dr Death.  Harold Shipman  A U.K. doctor who murdered over 200 of his patients, and last year hanged himself in prison.  Possibly the most prolific serial killer in the world.  And the American Dr Jack (can't say or spell his last name!)  the one who assisted in euthanasia...and helped people commit self-murder.  But tis more common than one may think, that they are the direct cause of people dying.  And all going under the guise of "care"  normally.   From

Doctors Are the Third Leading Cause of Death

  • Studies show that doctors account for 250,000 deaths per year. They don't do it intentionally, but due to a lack of knowledge, errors and over-influence from drug companies that is the end result.
