The Dark Angel

I saw the headline on yahoo that the church has lost its light in the death of Pope John Paul II.

To all intents and purposes, the guy was a nice old man. I used to think so myself, before I knew any better. And yet, because of that fact, he was probably the most dangerous man in the world. When any religion is obviously oppressive and tyrannical, people are not stupid enough to be taken in by them of there own free will. Pope John Paul however, was everything the Bible described as the characteristics of Anti-Christ, an angel of light, who fooled people by his apparent goodness, rather than being openly evil which many folks immediately think of with anti-Christ. Performing many miraculous signs and wonders. There seems debate amongst Christians today, if the Papacy or Islam, either one of them could be the anti-Christ. Yet Islam does not hide its evil, or its tyranny or oppressiveness. The Papacy today, and pehaps more than ever under the see of Pope John Paul II did just that. Which is why the headline can read, "The church has lost its light" as whose the real Light of the church? The Light of the World of course. And anti-Christ will do everything to impersonate and resemble the real Light, while in fact, standing for evil, and yet hiding its evil under the light. In their case, false light. Does anything BUT the papacy fit THIS description of the Lawless one?
