Ahh, Those were the Days

Remember when one could eat British Beef without a care or concern in the world? I honestly thought that when I first started getting ill, that spongy brain desease (mad cow or CJD) may have come my way. Beef has long been my preffered meat, whether real beef, steak, beefburgers or ground/minced beef. Ah life used to be so simple before, before, ummm.. before it got complicated by artificial intelligence!! My intelligence may not be real up there as high, but tis real at least. Anyone would know, if you are feeding animals scrapie then the animals are not going to do well and thrive and may even have serious problems. Farmers have gone bust all over the country over the last decade. If the Mad Cow desease didnt wipe out there herds then foot and mouth did, many of them were so desperate they took their own lives. Now while we may not condone self harm, I'm sure we can feel for their plight and the desperation they felt. Was this what God meant for us to have dominion over live-stock? To feed them so poorly and so inappropriately, that we not only wipe out half of the animals in question, but also take the risk of having a mad cow desease plague that could wipe out half of England or more in the years to come. This is not a wild speculation, it is a fact that could happen. The trouble with that desease it can lay dormant for years and years. But don't worry, this mad cow ain't thinking of travelling overseas just yet, so y'all are safe!! |
