A time for Laughing, a Time for ponderizing: Addendum to ThisRemember this guy:
Well, I poked fun, not knowing if to believe the guy's slogan on his shirt was a joke or not. And then saw something on TV that made me think, oh heck! Foot in mouth desease! Whether the guy was joking or not. I was watching the story of a woman who used to be anorexic. Not sure how bad that was, but she had it for two years. And now, 13 years later, she is at the opposite end of the scale. She is very, very over-weight and bullimic. And the reason she started having any eating disorders at all, was cos she had abuse as a child, and her eating as a teen was the one thing she could control. As she felt all other control had been removed from her through being abused. And she was full of self-loathing, and can't even look at herself in a mirror. I think sometimes, myself included, we can be too quick to judge a book by its cover! 1 Samuel 16
